HAPPY TAX DAY!
LARRY CORREIA rants about government on tax day. I think his rant is excellent. I'm going to have to check out his novels.

Correia's rant reminded me of a good suggestion for tax awareness. Instead of the government deducting taxes from people's paychecks, it should just keep a tally of the tax money owed, but not actually take anything out.
Then, at the end of the year, every person will actually have to PAY all the taxes that they've been charged, all at once.
Taxes will no longer be this invisible, minor annoyance that many people aren't even aware of. Even the biggest tax apologist would have to take pause.
